Director's Welcome

Welcome to the School of Accounting’s web site. The School of Accounting is one of seven academic units in the College of Business at Florida Atlantic University. The College of Business, with over 6,000 students, is the largest college at FAU, and is one of the largest AACSB accredited colleges in the nation.

The School of Accounting has over 1,700 students enrolled in classes and is one of the most popular majors at the University. Our students pursue careers in public, private, and governmental accounting. They have been ranked sixth in the nation based on the percentage of candidates passing all four parts of the CPA exam over a ten-year rolling basis and frequently receive individual top rankings in the state and the nation.

Our faculty teach at the Boca Raton and Davie campuses. We offer bachelor, masters and doctoral degrees in day and evening classes, and in weekday and weekend programs. Our students, traditional and non-traditional, take classes in these various formats. Explore our web site for details on our faculty, programs, courses, schedules, and locations.

After visiting our site, you may have questions and might like to speak with someone about our undergraduate programs in accounting. For questions about our undergraduate programs, please contact Susan Dobson (dobson@fau.edu or 561-297-3603). For questions about our graduate programs, please contact Angela Gaze (agaze@fau.edu, 561-297-3643).

The Director’s Office is located in the School of Accounting on the Boca Raton Campus (Dr. Kimberly Dunn kdunn@fau.edu, 119A Kaye Hall, or 561-297-3636). Please visit, write or call. I welcome and encourage your interest, your comments, and your support.
