Admissions
The College of Business seeks a diverse, highly-qualified group of graduate students. Applications are evaluated on several factors emphasizing prior academic performance, scores, and the potential for scholarly and professional success. The admission decision is based on the strength of the application as a whole. The admission requirements are competitive and minimum published requirements do not automatically guarantee student acceptance to the program.
**Graduate courses in the College of Business are not available for non-degree registrants
Admissions Requirements
- Completion of the Graduate College Application including application fee
- Bachelor’s degree in any field of study from a regionally accredited institution
- Minimum 3.0 GPA in the last 60 hours of undergraduate study
- Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) score and/or Graduate Record Examination (GRE) score taken within the last 5 years (see chart below).
- Official transcript or transcript evaluation reflecting bachelor’s degree

Executive Master of Tax
- GRE score of 1000 or higher or an LSAT score of 150 or higher may be substituted for the GMAT requirement
- A prospective student with a graduate degree, including a law degree, or an active CPA license, may seek a waiver of the GMAT requirement

- GRE score of 1000 or higher or an LSAT score of 150 or higher may be substituted for the GMAT requirement

Supplemental Information
- Submit a 1-2 page “statement of purpose” describing applicant’s reason for seeking admission to the College of Business.
- Letter(s) of recommendation from faculty members, employers, or others who can attest to scholarly ability.
- A one page resume.
Note: Your Z number and desired entry term must be included on every document (without this information your admission supplementary documents may not be processed). Supplementary document must be sent by the admission deadline.
