Flexible MBA - Operations Management
Flexible MBA – The Operations Management (OM) Concentration
Operations Management enables the organization to compete effectively on the dimensions of cost, quality, flexibility, time, and innovation through the effective use of human, material and informational resources. In so doing, it shapes the product and service-related experience the firm renders its customers. With businesses increasingly performing value-adding activities along supply chains spanning the globe, quality underlying every functional aspect of business, and organizations having to manage the effective execution of projects, what the OM specialization offers the student is an ideal fit for those aspiring to an influential managerial position and a promising career path. Demonstrated competency in any of these areas of OM is an asset of universal appeal that is highly valued by business. While students interested in any of the OM track courses are encouraged to take one or more of these courses, completion of four OM track courses gives the student an OM concentration formally recognized on the student’s transcript.
