School of Accounting raises funds for scholarships
Over 170 FAU students, faculty, alumni and community members participated in the FAU School of Accounting’s annual Celebration event on September 19, 2011 at the Boca Lago Country Club. This two-part event kicked off with a Golf Challenge of friendly competition for a good cause and concluded with an evening Celebration featuring a welcome reception, silent and live auction and dinner. $70,000 was raised and proceeds from the event will benefit future FAU accounting students through scholarships.
